Gifts for Surgeons and Oncologists
Thank the doctors who send you patients
A referral is a physician putting their own reputation on the line for you. A thoughtful gift is how that trust gets acknowledged, in a way an email cannot. Send to one referring physician or to your entire referral list.
Two simple ways to gift
Both options let you send to one referring physician or a long list, and both let you schedule when gifts ship. The difference is how much help you want along the way.
Self-Serve
Best for sending to individual referring physicians and their offices as cases come in, and for anyone who already knows what they want.
- Order online anytime, including the day a referral comes through
- Send to one office or many, each to its own address
- Choose your ship date at checkout
- Towers, signature assortments, truffle fudge bars, and caramels
- A tower or large assortment works well, since a referring office tends to share it around the whole team
Concierge
Best for covering an entire referral network, conference and speaker gifting, and year-end sends past roughly 50 recipients.
- Gift recommendations by budget and price point
- Help managing a full referral list across multiple offices
- Support coordinating timing and delivery windows
- One point of contact from selection to delivery
A gift that arrives like it came from a person, not a warehouse.
John Kelly Chocolates has been made by hand in Hollywood since 2004, starting with a family fudge recipe and turning it into something all its own. Every box is finished by hand and packed to arrive looking like a gift, not a shipment. That is why it lands differently than the usual branded drop-off: it does not read as marketing, it reads as one professional thanking another, and it gets remembered the next time a referral is on the table.

Moments worth marking.
The best gifts show up when someone is not expecting one. These are the sends practices ask us about most.
After a referral
Someone sent business your way and vouched for you doing it. A box that arrives that same week says more than a note three months later.
A new referring physician
Introducing your practice to an office you have not worked with yet. A gift gets your name on the counter and gives the front of the office a reason to remember it.
Conferences and speaking
Tumor boards, panels, and speaking engagements. A thank you for the invitation, or something to leave with the colleagues you met there.
Year-end sends
The longest list of the year. Start early and we can help you cover the whole referral network without the last-minute scramble.

Practical details to help you choose between ordering online and getting a hand from us.
Can I send to multiple offices at once?
Yes. You can send to multiple recipients, each at their own address, directly through our online gift store. Or contact us if you would like help coordinating a larger list.
Can I schedule gifts to arrive on a specific day?
Yes. You choose your ship date at checkout. For a specific arrival date, give yourself a few days of buffer, especially in warm weather or around the holidays.
Can you customize the packaging with our practice logo?
We do not print on the chocolate itself, but we do have options for customizing our packaging, including company logos. What is possible depends on quantity and timing, so contact us with the details and we will let you know.
Can I include a note?
Gift notes may be available depending on the order type and timing. For larger sends, include your preferred message when you contact us.
How early should I reach out for a year-end list?
Earlier is better. Lead times depend on the season, the level of customization, and our production schedule, so more notice always gives you more options.
How do gifts hold up in shipping?
We pack every order to arrive in good condition and use cold packs and insulated containers when the weather calls for it. Warm-weather shipping can add cost, so it helps to tell us where your gifts are headed.
Can you accommodate allergies and dietary needs?
Most of our products contain dairy, and some contain nuts such as walnuts, almonds, and peanuts. Even products without nuts can come into contact with them. Everything we make is gluten free except our Shortbread Cookie. Please contact us before ordering if allergies are a concern.
Handmade in Hollywood, California since 2004. Our award winning Truffle Fudge Bars are the pieces people remember, and John Kelly was named one of the best things to do in Los Angeles by actress Bryce Dallas Howard.
